Green needle coke is a kind of green petroleum coke,is obtained by decaying coke from the coker unit. When crude oil is converted into gasoline and jet fuels, green acicular petroleum coke is obtained as a by-product,using low sulfur content crude oil as raw material.Its appearance is dark black, metallic luster porous solid. Its structure has obvious flow texture liking fibers or needles, large less elliptical shape holes,big length width ratio particles,lubricated.It is the raw material for producing ultra-high power graphite electrodes with strong thermal shock resistance,high mechanical strength,good anti-oxidation performance,low electrode consumption and high allowable current density.
