1mm para-aramid fiber chopped strands was cut in 1mm by a special cutting machine from Kevlar fiber filament.1414 para-aramid fiber also can called aromatic polyamides fiber has high strength and modulus,strong hydrogen bonding strength,strength up to 28 g/d or more,strength is 5-6 times of steel wire.specific modulus 2-3 times of it,toughness 2 times of it while weight is just 1/5 of the wire.1414 P-aramid fiber continuous using temperature range is extremely wide,long running in the range of -196 ºC to 204 ºC,no decomposition and melting at high temperature of 560 ºC,para aramid fiber strength can maintain 75% through 100 hours at 200 ºC,also kevlar filament roving fiber has good chemical solvent resistance,resisting acid and alkali, anti-aging,good adhesion to rubber.Usually para aramid fiber is used as a reinforcing material in the fields of thermoplastics,thermosetting plastics,rubber,silica gel,high-temperature composite structures,brake pads,clutch linings,friction material,wear-resistant filler,cable sheathing,gaskets,slot insulation,phase insulation barrier,interturn insulation and so on.
