Fiberglass reinforced plastic panel/FRP panel is a kind of compsite panel which was produced with fibergalss as recinforcement mateial and resin as base material.Genearally fiberglass material are chopped strands mat,E-glass woven roving,fiberglass combo mat;Resins are expoy,phenolic resin,polyester.Thickness from 0.8mm to 5.0mm,width less than 2.9m.It has good points like strong but light weight,chemical stable,nonconductive,high mechanical strength,etc.Widely used in military and civilian sectors.

FRP ROPERTIES:
1.Lightweight and high strength:
Relative density between 1.5g/cm3 to 2.0g/cm3,only carbon steel 1/4~1/5,but the tensile strength is close,even more than carbon steel,the specific strength can be compared with the high performance alloy steel.Thus,in aviation,rockets,spacecraft,high pressure vessels as well as in other products need to reduce the weight of applications,have excellent results.Some epoxy FRP tensile,bending and compression strength can reach more than 400Mpa.
2.Crossion resistance:
FRP is a good anticorrosive material,it has a better resistance for the atmosphere,water and the general concentration of acid, alkali, salt and a variety of oils or solvents. It has been applied to all aspects of chemical corrosion replacing carbon steel,stainless steel,wood,nonferrous metals and so on.
3.Good electrical performance:
FRP Is an excellent insulating material used to make insulators.It can protect the good dielectric at high frequency as well.Microwave permeability is good,widely used in radar radome
4.Thermal performance is good:
FRP thermal conductivity is low,room temperature is 1.25 ~ 1.67kJ / (m · h · K), only metal 1/100 ~ 1/1000,is an excellent insulation material.In the case of instantaneous ultra-high temperature it is the ideal thermal protection and ablation materials,can protect the spacecraft withstand high-speed air erosion at 2000ºC or more .
5.Good designability:
