6mm BMC DMC Fiberglass Chopped Strands for DMC/BMC(Dough/bulk molding compounds) is cutting from long fiberglass roving which was treated by special sizing.This chopped strands has good compound ablility with unsaturated polyester resin(economic type,ordinary low shrinkage type,ordinary low shrinkage reinforced type,electrical flame retardant type,electrical flame retardant reinforced type),epoxy and phenolic resin. It can increase products' mechanical properties(impact,tensile,compressive,flexural,high temperature resistant,abrasion resistant.etc.) and improve dimensional stability and minimize distortion at elevated temperature.Finished products have excellent physical and mechanical properties and surface appearance.

1.good bundle integrity: good integrity to ensure that the chopped strands do not fluff into a ball in long way transportation,to facilitate the feeding process and not clog the feeder of twin screw extruder.
2.good flowability: good flowability and bundle integrity are closely related, which also created favorable conditions for the smooth automatic feeding process.
3.excellent physical and chemical properties: this chopped strands has high tensile strength,elastic modulus,so it can reinforce the polyamide 6 or 66,and improve its impact,tensile,compressive and flexural properties,improve dimensional stability and minimize distortion at elevated temperature.
The fiberglass chopped strands should be keep dry in their original bags and stored in a suitable place,preferably at room temperature with 35-65% relative humidity.Avoid the sun, rain and fire.
SHIPMENT AND TRANSPORTATION:
1.Shipment by sea:for sea transportation,generally 20pallets(each 1000kg.two layers)be loaded into 20 feet container.total net weight is 20.00 metric tons.
2.transportation by truck:for truck transportation,generally 10 pallets(each 1000kg,one layer) be loaded into truck.
3.transportation by rail:for rail transportation,generally 20 pallets(each 1000kg,two layer)be loaded into train's container.
